Join Anna in a one on one discussion with acclaimed artist and visual designer Marc Brickman. Currently in Artist-in-Residence at the Empire State Building, and recognised for his iconic visuals for Pink Floyd, Marc will discuss using art and design to connect with individuals and worldwide audiences.
With a career spanning architectual visual design, olympic ceremonies, film and theatre, this one-on-one with Marc is not to be missed.

Marc Brickman
Visual design can best be described as a spatial art that defines architecture as sculpting, revealing the form by painting with light and video image. As visualists, we use energy technologies as translators of form and space.
marc brickman is a world-renowned artist and visual designer whose work has been seen by millions worldwide. His work and profile has been featured in publications and broadcasts around the globe.
Recognised as a cutting-edge creative force and innovator in the industry, his visuals for Pink Floyd have become iconic, generating one of the best-selling music DVDs in history.
marc's stage credits include The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream and Young Frankenstein on Broadway, Cirque du Soleil's Elvis in Las Vegas and world-wide franchise of the Blue Man Group.
His film work can be seen in Steven Speilberg's Minority Report, A.I Artificial Intelligence, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, Running Man, and Cat in the Hat, and Jon Chu's Jem and the Holograms. Television credits include the opening and closing ceremonies of the Barcelona Olympics, closing ceremonies of the Nagano Olympic Games, and consultation with the Salt Lake City Olympic Committee.
Arts commissions include artist in residence at the Empire State Building from 2012 to present, New York City's Kosciuszko Bridge, commissioned by Govenor Andrew Cuomo, and Salzberg Festpeil.
Concert touring credits include Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Keith Urban, John Mayer, Nine Inch Nails, Kitaro, No Doubt, Neil Young, Genesis, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Temptations, Carole King, Steve Miller Band, Johnny Mathis, Wayne Newton, and Yumi Matsutoya among many others.
Lighting and creative consulting for architectural projects include collaboration with architects such as Frank Gehry and Sir Norman Foster. Projects include the Empire State Building, the Al-Faisalah building, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the Vulcan statue in Birmingham, AL.
Anna Robb:
In Anna's 20 year career, she has had over 10 years experience in performer flying and has been involved as a stage manager on the creation of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil and as production stage manager on The House of Dancing Water in Macau. Anna has dealt with countless show stops and automation hiccups and places much value on the rigging and automation teams as a source of safety and reassurance as they challenge the boundaries of what is possible in the performer / tech interface.
Anna is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director for TheatreArtLife. Anna has lectured on Stage Management and given speeches on show creation and is passionate about the evolution of the entertainment industry.
