Captioning, audio description, sign language interpreting and wheelchair access are expected in most venues, and planning, advocacy and support are an important part of this process. Learn about the process for programming accessible performances, along with the extensive range of opportunities to ensure that the arts and theatre are accessible to everyone.
With thirty years experience in the arts accessibility field, Lisa has seen enormous progression towards inclusion over this time. This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the trailblazers in field.
About Lisa Carling:
Lisa Carling, Director of Accessibility Programs at TDF helps design and implement services that make theatre performances more accessible to people with disabilities on Broadway, Off Broadway and nationwide.
