Join Anna in a one on one discussion with Creative Director Kafi Pierre on the post-covid entertainment world for Artists. Investigate the needs of the performer as we return to casting, auditions and performances, including attention grabbing CVs and show reels.
With a wealth of experience across several disciplines, Kafi and Anna provide an insight into the next step for Artists as we all find our feet in a post-pandemic world.

Kafi Pierre:
Kafi Pierre was born in Toronto, Canada and is a graduate of the Claude Watson
Arts Program ('97) and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center (2001).
Ms Pierre was also a child actor, starring in the critically acclaimed Canadian children’s program The Elephant Show with Sharon, Lois, and Bram. Kafi’s young
career continued to flourish when she was cast in CTV’s The Ramona Series with
Sarah Polley and That Scattered Brain Booky at Young People’s Theater.
Ms. Pierre’s immense talent has led her to work with some of the most notable
directors and choreographers in the business including: Mia Michaels
(SYTYCD), Jamie King (MJ Immortal Tour), Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening )
Luam (Empire) Maija Garcia (CHIRAQ) and Andrew Lloyd Webber
(Jesus Christ Superstar).
Kafi’s career in theater has spanned over 18 years, some of her theater credits
include; The Lion King, Bombay Dreams, Cirque Du Soleil’s Delirium and
Dralion, America’s Got Talent and Fela! The Musical. Her film and
television credits include; State Like Sleep (Dir Meredith Danluck), A Witches
Ball (Dir. Justin G. Dyck), Good Morning America, CBC, Macy’s Day Parade,
Sony Pictures, MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, ABC and NBC.
In 2015 she accepted the position of Artistic Coordinator for the The Han Show in Wuhan, China. Where she worked alongside famed director Franco
Dragone to restage and choreograph the world-class production.
In 2017 she directed and choreographed for the Beaches Resort and Spa
Entertainment division in Turks and Caicos and also became the associate choreographer for critically acclaimed Paramount Theatre’s
Jesus Christ Superstar in Chicago.
In 2018 she re-joined Cirque Du Soleil on their production team as an assistant
Artistic Director.
Anna Robb
In Anna's 20 year career, she has had over 10 years experience in performer flying and has been involved as a stage manager on the creation of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil and as production stage manager on The House of Dancing Water in Macau. Anna has dealt with countless show stops and automation hiccups and places much value on the rigging and automation teams as a source of safety and reassurance as they challenge the boundaries of what is possible in the performer / tech interface.
Anna is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director for TheatreArtLife. Anna has lectured on Stage Management and given speeches on show creation and is passionate about the evolution of the entertainment industry.
