The lightning network allows users to route payments to each other for low cost and in real-time. It only needs the bitcoin blockchain for final settlement and this is what makes it fast and inexpensive. This webinar will discuss a practical and easy way to setup a test bitcoin lightning network on an Amazon cloud server providing a safe way to test how lightning network payments work. The presentation will focus on using docker containers which will have the lightning network software already prepared for use. The content will include both a powerpoint presentation and a live demonstration of the steps required to send a payment from one node to another.
